Description
Yoga is a fantastic way to cleanse body and mind, get to know yourself, and accept your limits. Conquer your fears and develop both mentally and physically!
CONTENT AND GOALS
This yoga practice is calm and meditative. Yoga promotes balance for body and mind through poses, breathing exercises, relaxation, and positive thinking. The body is strengthened and becomes more flexible. It contributes to inner calm and reduces stress.
PREREQUISITES
This course is for all levels. Anyone can practice yoga regardless of age or health condition because the practice is adapted to each individual. You always start from your own conditions.
INSTRUCTOR
Rebecka Magnusson, certified yoga teacher, approved by Yoga Alliance 500 RYT. Rebecka has trained in Stockholm and Rishikesh, India (the yoga capital). She has taught since 2007 in various locations across Skåne and Blekinge. Her yoga is inspiring, and she aims to share its effects as a tool to carry through life. Rebecka also organizes wellness days, yoga trips, and works with Ayurveda, massage, and health care. For more information, visit www.livochlotus.se
All our instructors have completed Medborgarskolan’s basic pedagogical course, tailored for adult education. We have a leadership development program as part of our quality system, offering continuous personal and pedagogical/methodological development opportunities.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Bring a yoga mat, sleeping pad, towel, or blanket to sit on.
Soft, comfortable clothing is recommended. Bring a warm sweater or extra blanket for relaxation and preferably a water bottle.
