A traditional folk music gathering at Sweden’s southernmost point.
Description
The event begins with a musicians’ parade starting from the Famntaget statue in the harbor. Gathering at 11:45 — all musicians are welcome to join!
Enjoy live folk music performed by traditional ensembles and music groups, along with folk dance troupes offering both performances and opportunities for the audience to try dancing themselves.
There will also be spontaneous “buskspel” — informal jam sessions — happening throughout the area for all musicians.
