Norra Grönby mill can be seen from afar in the rolling landscape of Söderslätt, just northeast of Anderslöv in Trelleborg municipality. The mill is a clear landmark next to the road through the village of Norra Grönby. Here it has rested on its grey stone foundation since it was built in 1890 and grain has been ground here until 1967. Norra Grönby mill is a windmill of the type known as "Dutch". The top dome can be turned in the desired direction to make optimal use of the power of the wind. The mill is built on five floors and from the ground up to the spire on the top dome it is about 18 meters. Between the wingtips there is also about 18 meters, which gives about 30 m2 of sail area, about the same as a modern smaller sailboat. The mill is largely intact even inside including a small mill chamber.
