Sand sculpture competition at Dalabadet

Gather a team of three people and let your imagination run wild as you create a sand sculpture out of materials straight from the beach. Only sand, water and natural materials such as seaweed, shells and grass are allowed.

The competition has two classes: children 0–18 years old and adults 19–100 years old. The sculptures are judged on the basis of artistic value and expression, technique and degree of difficulty, and originality.

When: Sunday 30 August 2026, 10:00–14:00
Where: Dalabadet, below Siluett, and Västerut

The program starts at 10.00 with a gathering and choice of seat. After that, it is time for sculpting at 11:00–13:00, followed by the judges' deliberations and award ceremony at 13:45.

Register the team no later than August 25 by contacting Josefine Martensson at josefine.martensson@trelleborgsrf.se. The registration fee is SEK 50 per team and is paid via Swish.
