Description

The legacy of ancient Rome is evident in everything from architecture to language, and especially in law. In this lecture, we will discuss Roman law and how a trial was actually conducted. What crimes could one be charged with, and what punishments were handed down? Who was the judge and who was the lawyer? And why do we find so many women involved in the courts?

This lecture will be held in swedish
