Since 2005, the festival has taken place annually and around 90 pianists from 20 countries have participated. During this year's festival, all pianists will also contribute with music from their home countries, something that is always exciting.
Four summer evenings, St. Nicolai Church is filled with wonderful piano music.
We have the great pleasure of being able to present a number of young pianists who are increasingly making their presence heard and who are predicted to have a brilliant future.
We are also very pleased to present one of Italy's most acclaimed pianists and educators, Andrea Padova, winner of the great Bach Competition in 1995. During the festival days, in addition to concerts, he will hold master classes for our young stars.
