Tae-Wha Lee Furugren is an internationally active musician and educator with over ten years of experience in music education in Germany and Sweden. She has extensive concert experience in Sweden and has performed regularly in Skåne's churches as part of a trio with cello and harp.
In her musicianship, she combines technical precision with a warm and expressive performance.
Nicholas Schmelter has been a church musician since the age of sixteen. He graduated in 2006 with a Master of Music in organ playing from Central Michigan University. At CMU, he was awarded several awards, including a Graduate Fellowship, Centralis Scholar Award, School of Music Performance Scholarship, and Presser Foundation Award. Nicholas made his European debut in 2019 with several subsequent concerts in Germany and Switzerland. Currently, Nicholas works as a full-time church musician in the Church of Sweden in Anderslöv parish.
This concert is part of Skåne's organ weeks.
