At the Heart of the Action – From Space Vodka to the World’s Fastest Car Koenigsegg

Johan Pärson, a native of Trelleborg, has long aimed to be at the heart of the action. At 13, he became student council president at Liljeborgskolan in Trelleborg and helped create one of Sweden’s top student councils. Around the same time, he started Stetti, Harbour Café in the small fishing village of Gislövs Hamn. By the age of 15, he was an adjunct member of Trelleborg’s Municipal Executive Board, working to strengthen student democracy in the municipality. Since then, he has always supported successful entrepreneurs—acting as the spider in the web, but preferring to stay “behind the entrepreneur.” Johan takes us on a journey from the solid values of his childhood home in Trelleborg, where he received the Rising Star award at the 2014 Trelleborg Gala, to his move to Stockholm and the launch of the company Rymdvodka, and then back down to Skåne to now work side by side with the entrepreneurial couple creating the world’s fastest car in Ängelholm—Koenigsegg.
