After their success in the Melodifestivalen final, Dolly Style is now galloping out on a major Sweden tour.
Dolly Style has once again proven their strong standing with the Swedish public.
With the song “YIHAA”, they made it all the way to the Mello final and soon reached number one on Spotify. It has continued to be one of the most streamed songs from this year’s lineup.
The last time Dolly Style participated in Melodifestivalen was with the song “Habibi”, which has now been streamed nearly 30 million times and has also been the song that warms up the audience before each semi-final of Melodifestivalen for the past few years.
About the song, the group says themselves: “YIHAA” is an energetic and uplifting country-pop song with the line “back on the horse”, reflecting the message “up on the horse again”. Sometimes we go through tough periods, and that’s okay. But let’s YIHAA! Back on the horse!
Dolly Style was formed in 2014 and has become the most unique Swedish pop group of the 2010s. Their loyal fans have created their own pastel-colored subculture on social media, calling themselves “Dollys”. The group made a big breakthrough in Melodifestivalen 2015 with their debut single “Hello Hi” and has since delivered hits such as “Cherry Gum”, “Rollercoaster”, “BAM BAM”, and “Habibi”.
In Christmas 2023, they even surprised their fans with a fourth member, Yolly.
Dolly Style’s music is a playful and catchy mix of different genres, and year after year they continue to deliver joy, color, and love. The group also actively works against bullying and promotes the freedom to be and look however you want.
With over 50 performances a year and a burning passion for their fans, they create a unique atmosphere at every concert.
