The Battle of Trelleborgen 2026

This weekend we meet for dear reunions and new meetings. Come and experience the Viking Age, smell the fires, dance to the music and cheer on your favorite Vikings in the battle for the castle. At the same time, a lovely Viking market is held with jewellery and handicrafts from near and far.

Friday 3 July

Market, handicrafts, camp life, Viking museum, games at the Viking farm, food and café
10.00 The market opens!
10.00-12.00 Archery for children, Borgvallen
10.00-15.00 Meet the wise old woman and the basketmaker, the medieval house
10.00-17.00 Participate in the Vikings' chores and visit the longhouse, the Viking farm
10.30-10.50 Castle walk with guide, starting at the castle gate
11.00-11.15 Story time, the nave
13.00-16.00 Archery for children, the rampart
16.00 Wedding ceremony - witness this year's couple renew their vows, by the water
17.00 The market closes for the day
