In addition to stations where you can get help patching, fixing and repairing your gadgets, there will be entertaining performances and informative lectures, and climate-smart food in the form of snacks will be served.
This happens in the big tent
10.00-10.30 Klimatkapellet – Performance/children's theatre
With inspiration from, among other things, the 70s children's program "Ville, Valle och Viktor" and "Five Ants are more than four elephants", the Klimatkapellet gives a swinging musical performance on the theme of climate and the environment with both laughter and seriousness, and with lots of activity and movement from the audience.
10.40-11.10 A hundred cool places in Skåne
Valle Westesson on local tourism and home holidays. Valle Westesson is a comedian, writer and hotel manager at his wayward, and self-built, circus hotel in Malmö. Recently featured in "Rusty road trips"
11.20-11.50 Yoga with gong
Come and be part of an experience out of the ordinary when Staffan Ekman, instructor and practitioner in kundalini yoga, demonstrates simpler yoga exercises and plays the gong.
12.00-12.50 A piece of book for lunch
Trelleborg's library invites you to a moment of relaxing and inspiring literature tips. It will be a mix of genres for different tastes with tips for a sustainable and enriching life.
13.00-13.20 Trelleborg Port - How much is 1 ton of carbon dioxide equivalents?
The port of Trelleborg reports its emissions annually. But without context, such numbers don't mean much to the common man. Environment and sustainability manager Jennie Folkunger talks about the port's emissions - how big they are and puts them in context.
13.30-13.50 Poetry with the power to change
Sustainable Poetry invites you to a symphony of words that have been co-created in the poetry tent during the day. Let yourself be enriched by the power of words. Together we explore a sustainable future through the prism of poetry.
In the smaller tents you will find:
Fritidsbanken with, among other things, a cargo bike
Fritidsbanken is like a library stocked with sports and leisure items. Fritidsbanken collects sports and outdoor equipment that is not used and lends it for free for 14 days! You can see on the web what is in stock at your Fritidsbank: www.fritidsbanken.se/fritidsbank/trelleborg
If you want to contribute sports and leisure items you no longer use, you can hand them in to the Fritidsbanken on Sustainability Day.
Energy and climate consultancy
The municipality's energy and climate advisors are on site and answer questions relating to your property and your energy costs, your energy use and its climate impact, and give you tips on how to prepare for possible future energy crises as well as tips on what you need to do if there is one longer electricity/heating interruptions.
Apple musting – From crunchy Scanian apples to sweet liquid juice
The association Växtvärket makes tasty apple must on site, which everyone gets to taste. The association brings apples and if you want to bring apples to donate, that's fine. Musting is done on all apples together. Primarily to taste on the spot, but if there is a lot, you can take it home. The association Växtverket is a collective of designers, landscape architects, horticultural engineers and educators.
Sort and recycle
Trelleborg Municipality's Department of Cycles and Water and TrelleborgsHem talk about how they work together to reduce littering and instead increase the sorting of waste for recycling.
Patch and mend clothes - with the help of knowledgeable textile teachers
Come to the tent to patch and mend your clothes and textiles. For example, you can give your clothes a personal touch with the help of embroidery. We also give various suggestions on how to mend torn clothes. There will be certain materials available for you to use, such as thread, buttons, sewing machines, irons and not least knowledgeable textile teachers.
The bicycle kitchen
Cykelköket's mobile workshop comes to Hållbarhetsdagen with its mobile bicycle workshop and brings with it lots of tools, washing materials and oil for your bike. It is you as a visitor who gets to handle the actual screwing and fixing, and they are there to instruct, give a helping hand and tips. They help you go through your bike, to find out what it is you need to fix on your particular bike, so that it will both last longer and roll easier.
Repair Cafe
Do you have electronics that need fixing? Come and bring your broken tech items. Knowledgeable volunteers from the Repair Café will help you repair them instead of throwing them away! Together, let's reduce waste and give new life to your possessions. And the best part: You learn something about your gadgets. Repair Café Malmö is a non-profit association that has existed since 2017.
Tasty honey
TrelleborgsHem in collaboration with Lönnhässle Bigård shows how a bee society is structured and functions. In the tent, you can also try the tasty honey on fresh bread. Did you know that the taste of honey depends on which flowers the bees have gathered nectar from? And did you know that honey was found in the pyramids of Egypt that was completely edible?
Completely lyrical - with poetry in the sustainability tent
Join us in creating poetry frenzy with Sustainable Poetry! Join us on a poetic adventure and try creative and fun activities such as creating poetry, challenging a friend in sustainability, poetry walks and tying a poetic friendship bracelet.
Find wires with a thermal imaging camera
With thermal thermography, the buried district heating network can be detected above ground. Trelleborgs Energi is on site to guide you so that you can understand how we can see leaks underground using this technology, without having to dig up large parts of the city. The activity is suitable for young and old.
The list of activities in the exhibition tents will be built on. With regard to unpredictable events, certain adjustments may also become relevant both in the program part and for the exhibition tents.
